Natural Resources Intro - Start your journey outdoors. This hands-on course introduces the basics of natural resources and how they shape our world. Students explore topics like soil, plant science, forestry, wildlife, water, environmental systems, biomes, and fire, while learning essential lab and field safety skills.

Through activities like simple labs, research, and field observations, students begin to see how natural systems connect. This course is perfect for anyone curious about the environment, enjoys being outside, or wants to explore potential careers in natural resources.

Natural Resources Concentrator - Dig deeper into the science and skills behind natural resource management. Students build on foundational knowledge while digging deeper in environmental science, forestry &  fire management, soil and plant systems, water resources, and habitat restoration.

This course introduces career exploration and development, along with more hands-on experiences using tools, equipment, and real-world problem solving. Students participate in industry visits and begin connecting classroom learning to careers in the field.

Natural Resources Capstone - Step into the role of a natural resource professional. This advanced course focuses on applying skills through GIS and mapping, water systems and irrigation technology, advanced safety practices, and continued work in forestry, fire, and environmental management.

Students complete a capstone project based on their interests and may have opportunities for internships or work-based learning. With industry connections, field experiences, and career-focused training, students leave this course prepared for college, certifications, or entry-level careers in natural resources.
