Career Technical Education (CTE) classes give students real world-applicable skills and are key aspects of our programs. Our school offers many CTE Pathways ranging from Introductory to Capstone Level.

Automotive
Alternative Fuels - This course introduces students to the fundamentals of electric vehicle (EV) technology and alternative fuel transportation systems. Students will explore EV components, including batteries, electric motors, charging systems, power electronics, and vehicle control systems. Through hands-on activities, students will learn to safely inspect, test, diagnose, and
troubleshoot electric vehicle systems using industry-standard tools and procedures. The course also includes opportunities to design, build, and evaluate EV-related projects while developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical skills. Students will gain an understanding of emerging transportation technologies, energy efficiency, sustainability, and career pathways within the rapidly growing electric vehicle industry.
Digital Media Arts - Digital media art combines art and technology in creative ways. Digital media artists help us visualize the world through graphic design, digital photo and video, animation, game design and much more. Natural Resources class is a new CTE pathway for students who love nature and being outdoors. You will go on fieldtrips, hikes and other outdoor activities. Welding- students will learn the basics of shielded and Gas Metal Arc welding, Flux Core Arc Welding, Gas Tungsten, Arc Welding, Oxy Fuel Welding and Cutting, Blueprint and Welding Symbol reading. These skills can be used in various career fields such as automotive, construction and plumbing. Vet Assisting class is for the animal enthusiast. Students will learn to provide support to the veterinary team by assisting with laboratory procedures such as vaccinations, drawing blood and proper handling of animals.
