Community Service: is a student requirement as stated in the YCCPCS Charter. Community service is donated service or activity performed by students for the benefit of the public. Students must be actively involved in community service  two hours per week. Weekly documentation is required to earn credit. Parents/Guardians must sign the “Learning Log” and document these hours.

Student Resources: Monday from 12 - 4:30 PM and Tuesday - Friday from 8:00 - 4:30PM, the school library, student union, and computer resources are available for students, with a meal being served from 12-12:45 every day.

Industry field trips and internships: Students have the opportunity to participate as they are planned through their CTE coursework.

Concurrent Enrollment: Students may choose to participate in “Concurrent Enrollment”. This is an accelerated track allowing eligible secondary students to complete postsecondary coursework, earning high school and college credit at the same time. These are college level courses at community college campuses or online. Such courses can save students time and money as they are often exempt from paying tuition, application, and laboratory fees.  Please talk to the Academic Advisor for more information.
