Jack Chao

Hi!  My name is Jack Chao.  I have been in the teaching profession teaching and tutoring math since 1993 ( I dare you to do the math to figure out how many years that is).  Growing up in Taiwan, math was one of my worst subjects in school. As a matter of fact I was not a very good student at all, I was always getting in trouble at school.  I can relate to most of the students with their struggle in school. I was inspired by one of my Junior High School Science teacher (who later became one of my High School Math teacher).  Teaching math has definitely been a challenge, but it is also very rewarding to help students to overcome their fear or struggles in math.

I am married with three kids.  Two older daughters are in high school and the youngest son is in fourth grade.  Family is very important to me.
